  • cdn index funds search?

Posted by admin on January 13th, 2009 and filed under mutual fund search | 1 Comment »

Does anyone know a good source for canadian index funds? I'm in search of a good index fund to invest in but would like to be able to compare, or at least get some stats. My research so far tells me index funds have out performed the majority of Canadian equity mutual funds. If this is so then I sure would like to diversify my portfolio. Thanks!

I am sorry I am unfamiliar with your country's index fund but I found this site which I hope helps

For instance, if I'm interested in General Motors (GM), Ford (F), General Electric (GE) and Yahoo (YHOO) but wanted to find common mutual funds that have them in their holdings, where I can find those mutual funds?

where do I search for stock having high volume of purchases?

Posted by admin on January 5th, 2009 and filed under mutual fund search | 1 Comment »

I would like to do searches for which stock (or mutual funds) by volume purchased. I see a lot of volume but it could be sold and/or purchased. I’m only interested in high volumes of purchases. It is like trying to see what the rest of the people are purchasing.
    thanks
I know of the common reporting of volume however it includes BOTH selling and buying. I want to track ONLY BUYING VOLUME.
