I start? Any advice or ideas?
Thanks a lot.
There are a lot of good sites on the web. You can try any of the following:
morningstar.com
kiplingers.com
fidelity.com
Also do a search on investments for beginners. Take your time to understand just what the mutual funds are doing with your money. Also realize that you can lose most or all of your money as well as making money.
Hope this helps

I have 1500 in my roth ira that i want to put into an emerging market mutual fund. where can i learn about which one to buy?
unfortunately most of the open end no load mutual funds have a higher minimum investment amount of about $2000 to $2500. But there are some closed end mutual funds that you buy like stocks that are emerging market funds. The open end mutual funds are categorized at Morningstar.com. Here is a link.

For closed end emerging market funds, try this link.

id like to start a mutual fund but dont have a clue about them please be serious on the subject long term short term funds
That's an awfully broad topic. Here's a link to a site you can begin reading up on them:

One piece of advice:
Never, NEVER pay a Load – A load is a commission that can be charged at the front (purchase) or back (sell). If an adviser wants to sell you a fund with a load, get up, walk out, and find another adviser. There are too many good funds to be paying any commissions. That adviser does not have your best interest.

Which one is better?? Mutual fund, share market or Commodity Futures Market in India for small money investment.
Can some one give more info. about Commodity Futures Market in India?? and how they work? how to invest?
There is no mutual fund as people are not so exposed to that in India.
For small investors, stability wise the ranking is mutual funds, then stocks, then commodity futures. Commodities are most fluctuating hence risky. You can trade in commodity future by opening an account with any brokerage/ bank.
